Story

In more than 20 years, Huntteri has grown to be one of the leading bicycle and accessories distributors in Finland. We work with independent bicycle dealers, sport stores and purchasing chains - and serve all in the best possible way. We are proud to represent many of the world´s top brands in Finland. The Company was founded in 1994 by Mr.Tapio Hirvaskari, who still actively participates in the daily running of the company as the Chairman of the Board. Huntteri is located in southwestern Finland, in the city of Turku. Nowadays the company employs some 20 people and has a yearly turnover of around 20 million euros with our sales team covering the whole Finland. Huntteri is privately owned company, with Mr. Juho Huttunen (Managing Director) as a partner.

We are true professionals in the bicycle business and feel that we can help our partners achieving better results in their business. This holds true for both our customers and for our suppliers. As a Finnish based company, we take pride in being one of the quickest suppliers in the business. We are confident about the future with our own capabilities and the support we receive from our customers and suppliers alike.

Customers

Huntteri´s customer base consists mostly Finnish customers, but we also do some business in the Baltic countries and Germany. Over 300 Finnish independent bicycle retailers are our customers. In addition to bicycle shops, we also serve all the sports store chains and many of the major department stores and other chain stores that sell bicycles or bicycle accesories. We are also very strong in private label bicycles, parts and accessories.

Brands

We are the distributor for many of the world´s top brands including: Orbea, Superior and  Rock Machine bicycles as well as accessories and parts by Abus, BBB, Giro, Bell, Blackburn, Michelin, Hamax, Lezyne, Super B, Zefal. We also have our own house brands of Madison and Evon bicycles and 1FirstGear accessories.

Connected

Huntteri is company with a very modern attitude to business. We run a recently updated Microsoft Dynamics ERP system that includes all modern functions from warehouse deliveries to accouting. We have also been one of the first distributors offering dealers a fully functioning B2B -webshop with 24h ordering and real time stock level information. In addition, we have integrated our systems with our customers systems, offering EDI- possibilities for orders, order confirmation and invoices.
